Keynote speakers are known

We are happy to announce that Rob van Leen (former Chief Innovation Officer DSM) and Josemaria Siota (Executive Director at IESE Business School) will be our keynote speakers of the CV&E summit 2020

Josemaria Siota - Executive Director at IESE Business School

Josemaria Siota is the Executive Director of IESE Business School's Entrepreneurship and Innovation Center, and has been designated Expert on Corporate Venturing at the European Commission and the World Economic Forum. He leads cutting-edge research on open innovation, corporate venturing and technology transfer, working around the world with successful Chief Innovation Officers and top-tier academics, to create a positive impact in society.
Considered "one of the world's most influential speakers on corporate venturing" by the newspaper South China Morning Post, he has published books and studies on these topics for Harvard Business Review, MIT Technology Review, PwC, Oliver Wyman, the European Commission, McGraw-Hill, Springer, Forbes, and more. He spoke at conferences in Harvard Business School, London Business School, Mobile World Congress, Web Summit, Global Corporate Venturing Symposium, to name a few. Previously, he worked at Deloitte.

Rob van Leen - Former Chief Innovation Officer DSM

Rob van Leen is a tenured expert in the food ingredients, biotechnological and chemical space, with more than 30 years' experience in the field. Currently, he is on the Supervisory Boards of RegMed XB (since 2019), Houdstermaatschappij Zuid-Holland (since 2017) and Merus (since 2016). He is also serving as Chairman of the Supervisory Board for NV Industriebank LIOF (since 2019, member since 2018)). Rob was employed at Koninklijke DSM N.V. for over twenty years between 1998 and 2019 in a range of roles. Between, 2006 and 2019, Rob held the position of Chief Innovation Officer, also serving as member of the Executive Committee from 2015 until August 2019. He was previously the Business Group Director for DSM Food Specialties between 2003 and 2006, and Business Unit Director for Dairy Ingredients between 1999 and 2003. Before joining DSM, Rob was Research & Development Director for Food Specialties at Gist-Brocades NV between 1995 and 1999. Other jobs at Gist-brocades in the period 1987 - 1999 include roles as research scientist in biotechnology related topics in food, pharma and industrial enzymes, strategic planning and a commercial role in industrial enzymes.
